Positively his last night in this city, as he sails for California on the 5th. Tom King has succeeded in effecting an engagement with the “beautiful, dashing and youthful” equestrienne, Miss Sallie Stickney, who will make her first apperance tomorrow.

Strakosch will all appear on one and the same evening, although the expense to engage such an unprecedented galaxy of musical celebrities as announced in the above advertisement (and it is well known that no combination of four Prima Donnas, such as — M’lle Parodi, M’me Colson, M’me Wilhorst, and M’me Strakosch) has ever appeared together in this city, the management has nevertheless determined to fix the price of admission to all parts of the hall to one dollar.
Mrs. Julia Dean Hayne made her New York debut at the Bowery Theatre in the principal role of Julia in the comedy The Hunchback, a part that she almost monopolized on the American stage. Youthful, graceful, delicately pretty, with a slight Hibernian cast of features, she at once awakened the public interest, and her intelligence and graceful study lent a charm to her performance which soon carried her to a point of popularity rarely exceeded.
The lessons will comprise all the latest and most fashionable dances: Gentlemen’s Class on Tuesdays and Fridays, from 8 until 10 P.M.; Young Ladies and Children’s Class on Mondays and Thursdays, from 3 to 5 P.M.
